J’ai vu Dog Pound pour sa sortie ciné et je n’ai découvert qu’après le film d’Alan Clarke… Et ben je m’en suis presque voulu d’avoir apprécié la version de Shapiron alors que j’étais si longtemps passé à coté de Scum… La principale différence est ce refus « d’emphase ou de sentimentalisme » dont Clarke fait preuve, et qui ajoute pas mal de verve (à défaut de spectaculaire) à ce que la caméra filme.
